Nicely designed, easy, to use!

Everything I needed

I was looking for a way to access my AirPort Extreme with a Seagate HD connected to it. Read a few posts and decided on this one. Downloaded it, fired it up and connected in seconds from my iPad. Clean interface, easy to set up. Just dropped it into my phone from the cloud and again was connected in seconds. All my files are viewable/playable. Primary use is streaming videos so I can spank it anywhere in the house without carting my MacBook around. Score one for technology.

If it could connect to my iPad

Extremely simple and easy app that allows you to access all shared folders/drives on all PCs on your network. Also integrates with Google Drive and Dropbox. Wish it had the .pdf editing capabilities and Yandex Disk integration that Documents by Readle has. But then Documents doesnt access the home network like this does. With this app I can stream music thats on my PC through the sound system attached to the TV via my phone. Im having a little trouble not giving this five stars. Only thing is, if it would let me access files on my iPad from my phone it would be even better, so there is room for improvement.

One of My pocket knife apps

I can connect easily to my servers with this app from my iOS devices. It would be nice to have ssh key login

Must have, top app

Must have app for the pro

Great for transferring between network drives

I love Filebrowser! Among other things, it lets me transfer files between my Mac, my PC, my NAS and even my media streamer. Its a breeze to use and very user friendly. Its made my life simpler. I can comfortably sit in my recliner while doing complex network file applications with my iPad mini. Highly recommended.

Worthwhile

Use it to browse my NAS and stream movies from either that or the PC. I miss the old adjustable scrub speed function that allowed for slower scrubbing if you moved your finger downward, for finding movie scenes. All in all, works quite well, would be nice to have more codecs occasionally.

Most useful app I have

It has taken some time and consistent updates, but it has been worth the wait. The developer has consistently improved and updated this app. I can now use it to open, review and even transfer most any file from one place on our local network, including our NAS, to my iPad or other device or desktop.

Love it after the last update

I have used this app for about a year and love it. I stream videos of my PC and it works great. The version before this one has a little problem but they quickly fixed it and now it is better than ever. If you have a PC and an iPhone, this is a must have app.

Fab

Very surprised at how great this app is. It sorts the file in alphabetical order. Excellent app. Would recommend to other users

A favorite

Great for kicking back with the iPad instead of sitting at the desk, or for when I need to move things between systems. FB has been rock solid for me.

Works great

Works as advertised

Outstanding

Easily the best app I have found to get to files and to place files where I need them. Overcomes many of the disadvantages of the sandboxed files that iOS uses.

Great app

Easy to setup Easy to use Cast to TV via chromecast Nice work Well done

Absolutely excellent

I use the app to communicate with my desktop via my iPad Air 2 and it is SUPERB! Videos, pictures, docs .... And you can edit and copy or move etc. Terrific. It does not work outside your network but I didnt want that. Very happy with File Browser app.

File Browser = Amazing (Apple misses the boat)

File Browser is an amazingly intuitive application. I have several Apple AirPort Extremes and have connected USB drives to create my home NAS network. File Browser allows my iPhone, iPad and even iPod touch to browse the home network with a Folder/File style experience, much like you would find with a traditional computer running OSX. Apple really missed the boat on this one as many of us Apple users were looking for a traditional Folder/File interface with iOS. A truly remarkable application! If I was Tim Cook, I would buy the File Browser development/company and integrate it with iOS 11.

Ruined Video Playback

Filebrowser used to work really well with video, before the development team updated. Now its a mess. Lost much of its functionality and constantly freezes. I used to love this app... Cant understand why they fixed something that wasnt broke.

Very good app

This app makes it really easy to view pictures and videos stored on my NAS. I havent run into any issues, and the app is very fast.

It just works like I claims

Robust app for getting in office, on the pc stuff done from the phone, on the beach. But, be careful of getting sand in the earphone jack...wait...
